Maribor, Slovenia

With a population of just under 100,000, Maribor is Slovenia’s second largest city. Start your city walk on Glavni trg, the main square in the charming old town. A few minutes away you can find the Maribor Castle which houses the Regional Museum. In summer, Lent Festival, the largest open-air festival in Slovenia brings music to the city. The festival has a long tradition: According to the organizers, almost every fourth Slovenian has been to the festival already. Kaunas, Lithuania

Dundee, Scotland

Darmstadt, Germany

Karwar, India

Karwar is a naval town along the Arabian sea coastline. It is a multicultural destination with the population speaking Marathi, Kannada and Konkani languages. You can spot dolphins at the Kurumgad island, a 45-minute boat ride from the main city. Karwar is a haven for seafood lovers, the coastal Karnataka cuisine that you will find here is truly incredible.
