The journey began on July 18, when Jordan boarded a FlixBus in Glasgow bound for London Victoria Coach Station. After an overnight stay in London, he caught an 8 a.m. FlixBus connection to Paris, crossing the English Channel via ferry and arriving at Bercy bus station. Despite the 30-degree heat, Jordan managed to grab dinner in Paris before continuing his journey on a third FlixBus, this time heading to Munich.

The overnight route to Munich allowed Jordan to catch up on some much-needed sleep, arriving in the Bavarian capital around 9 a.m. local time. From there, he embarked on the final leg of his journey, departing Munich at 11 a.m. and making his way through the picturesque landscapes of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bulgaria. Jordan arrived in Sofia at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, completing his marathon journey.

Reflecting on the experience, Jordan said, “I’m a huge FlixBus fan and use their services regularly in Scotland, so I wanted to see just how far I could go in one trip! I never imagined I could pull off something like this on my own, so I’m really proud of how well I navigated through different countries. FlixBus made the interconnections easy to understand.”

He also praised the professionalism of the FlixBus drivers in each country, noting that despite language barriers and multiple border controls, they ensured passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey. Jordan’s passion for bus travel even caught the attention of the BBC, where he was recently featured for his various bus adventures.

“Despite the long journey, I would do it again—maybe with another hotel stay to break it up, as 58 hours on the road is a lot in one go!” Jordan concluded.
