Paris: Auuux Champs-Élysées!

Last New Year’s Eve, around a million spectators gathered on the festively decorated Champs-Elysées. This year too, singers, dancers and performers will put on a spectacular show, which will end with projections on the Arc de Triomphe and a spectacular fireworks display. Another reason to visit Paris right now: Be one of the first to see the reopened Notre Dame from the inside. Five years after the devastating fire, the cathedral is shining in new splendor.

Stockholm: Poetry and party

The New Year’s Eve celebrations at Skansen, Stockholm’s popular open-air museum, are full of tradition: right before midnight Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poem “Ring Out, Wild Bells” is recited in Swedish and various musical acts perform on stage throughout the evening. Listen up, Swedes: no need to watch the party on TV, with FlixBus you can experience the event in person this year! And to all people coming from abroad: Skansen is your perfect opportunity for a deep dive into Swedish culture. The museum is like a giant park displaying different parts of Sweden and their traditions. You can even see moose here.

A giant colorful ball descends from the One Times Square skyscraper 60 seconds before the New Year. With FlixBus and Greyhound, you can experience the spectacle accompanied by performances from major pop stars. Last year Sabrina Carpenter, Flo Rida or Meghan Thee Stallion took the stage in Times Square.
