Teaming Up for a Greener Future
Europe’s Famous Hostels has been a long-standing partner of Eurail, promoting sustainable train travel across the continent. Now, we are proud to become their chosen partner for coach travel! Through this collaboration, travelers who book a reservation at any of the 50 hostels affiliated with Europe’s Famous Hostels will receive up to 20% off their stay when they choose to travel sustainably with FlixBus.
The Eco-Wanderer Calculator: Your Ticket to Savings
This discount program is designed to reward travelers who make sustainable choices both in their accommodation and their travel. To make this process easy, Europe’s Famous Hostels has developed an innovative tool called the Eco-Wanderer calculator. This calculator measures the CO2 emissions for each passenger per kilometer traveled by FlixBus and compares it to the emissions of a plane on the same route. Based on this calculation, a discount voucher is generated, which travelers can redeem by presenting their FlixBus ticket upon check-in at their selected hostel.

In addition to accommodation discounts, travelers who opt for sustainable travel with FlixBus will also receive a discount on FlixBus tickets throughout our extensive international network.
