Flix partners with Kolet to make internet access abroad easier for its passengers
FlixBus passengers can now get 2 days of free mobile internet with Kolet in more than 190 countries and regions, from South America to Europe, India or Australia.

Paris / Munich, September 15th, 2026 – Flix and Kolet, the global eSIM app for travelers, are announcing a new partnership designed to make it easier to get online while traveling abroad.
Through this partnership, FlixBus passengers can get 2 days of free mobile internet (up to 1GB), in more than 190 countries and regions. The offer is completely free.
When arriving in a foreign country, internet access is essential: whether to find your way to your accommodation, buy a public transport ticket, contact friends and family, or make a reservation. Yet getting online can still be surprisingly complicated, requiring travelers to find reliable Wi-Fi, buy a local SIM card, or encounter unexpected roaming charges with their usual mobile provider.
Kolet makes this much easier. Travelers can install their eSIM directly from their phone in just a few minutes and connect to leading local mobile networks as soon as they arrive. The same eSIM can then be kept and reused on future trips.
“Flix and Kolet share the same goal: to make travel simpler. Flix helps millions of people travel easily and affordably around the world; with Kolet, we want to make getting online just as easy once they reach their destination”, says Eduardo Ronzano, CEO at Kolet.
The Kolet offer will be featured at several points throughout the Flix journey: on the onboard Wi-Fi portal, on the Flix app and Flix website and through window stickers on selected international routes. Users will then be redirected to the co-branded website.
“At Flix our goal is to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. Through our partnership with Kolet, passengers can enjoy 2 days of free internet access abroad and make the most of their trip from the moment they arrive”, adds Alexander Schlüter, VP Marketing & Customer Product at Flix.
Operating in more than 40 countries across five continents, Flix today serves over 8,000 destinations with its brands. Kolet, meanwhile, provides internet access in more than 190 destinations through a single eSIM. The app also allows users to save unused data for a future trip, share it with friends and family, and make calls directly from the app.
With this partnership, Flix and Kolet are working towards the same goal: making international travel affordable and simpler from start to finish.
