New umbrella brand: FlixMobility is now called Flix

+ FlixMobility is now Flix and combines FlixBus and FlixTrain under a new umbrella brand

Munich, April 14th, 2022 – FlixMobility is now called Flix. With the change in legal form from a GmbH (limited liability company) to an SE, the mobility provider is introducing a new global umbrella brand, under which two sustainable modes of transport are combined: FlixBus and FlixTrain. By shortening the name, the core values of the product and the company are emphasized even more. Flix stands for smart, sustainable and easy to use mobility.

 

New name for a familiar vision

Providing sustainable travel options for people around the world has always been the driving motivation for the founders of Flix. The new umbrella brand now stands united for green mobility on road and rail. “Our DNA is green! That doesn’t just apply to our products, it applies to the whole company,” says André Schwämmlein, CEO of Flix. “Booking on our website or app is as simple as the name. We want to show how the future of sustainable and smart mobility looks like. In Germany and worldwide.”
